Short version: AutoPost never collects, stores, or transmits any personal data. Everything the extension does stays on your computer.

What AutoPost does

AutoPost is a Chrome extension that reads vehicle listing data from dealer websites you have open in your browser and helps you post that listing to Facebook Marketplace in the same browser session. It does not have a server. It does not send your data anywhere.

Data we collect

None. AutoPost does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

What the extension reads locally

To do its job, AutoPost reads content from the dealer website tab you are viewing — specifically vehicle details (make, model, year, price, photos) and the Facebook Marketplace tab where the listing is posted. This data is processed entirely in your browser and is never sent to any external server.

Permissions used

AutoPost requests the following Chrome permissions, which are necessary for the extension to function:

None of these permissions are used to collect data from you or transmit anything to a remote server.

Third-party services

AutoPost does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. The extension has no backend server.

Facebook Marketplace

AutoPost automates form filling on Facebook Marketplace using data from the dealer page. AutoPost does not log into Facebook on your behalf, does not store your Facebook credentials, and does not access your Facebook profile or messages.

Children's privacy

AutoPost is a professional tool for automotive dealers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised policy at this URL. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
